About Us
A Place Where Spirituality Meets Simplicity
Chetan Jyoti Ashram is a peaceful spiritual retreat dedicated to meditation, devotion, and selfless service (seva). Rooted in ancient Indian traditions, the ashram welcomes everyone seeking calmness, clarity, and spiritual growth—irrespective of caste, creed, or background.
Surrounded by the sacred vibrations of Haridwar, the ashram provides a nurturing atmosphere to slow down, reflect, and walk the path of inner awakening.

Sanskrit Seva
Sanskrit is the divine language of our scriptures, mantras, and ancient wisdom. Through Sanskrit education initiatives, the ashram aims to:
- Promote understanding of Vedas, Upanishads, and sacred texts
- Teach correct pronunciation of mantras and shlokas
- Preserve India’s spiritual heritage
- Encourage youth to reconnect with Sanatan roots
Students are guided not only in language learning but also in moral values, discipline, and spiritual understanding.
“संस्कृतं संस्कृतिः मूलम्” —
Sanskrit is the root of our culture.
Divya Ganga Aarti Seva
The sacred Ganga Aarti is performed with devotion, lamps, chanting, and Vedic mantras on the holy banks of Maa Ganga.
Through this seva:
- Devotees participate in divine evening worship
- Prayers are offered for universal peace and prosperity
- Spiritual vibrations uplift the environment
- Pilgrims experience the grace of Maa Ganga
This daily ritual is a symbol of gratitude towards the sacred river that purifies body, mind, and soul.
“हर हर गंगे, जय माँ गंगे”
Devotees can also contribute by sponsoring Aarti Seva for special occasions.
Gau Shala Seva
Serving & Protecting the Sacred Cow
The cow (Gau Mata) holds a revered place in Sanatan Dharma. The Ashram’s Gau Shala is dedicated to:
- Shelter and care for cows
- Providing proper food, water, and medical support
- Protecting abandoned and elderly cows
- Promoting awareness about Gau Seva
Serving cows is considered highly meritorious in scriptures and brings spiritual blessings.
“गावो विश्वस्य मातरः” —
Cows are the mothers of the universe.
Devotees can support Gau Seva through donations for fodder, medical care, or maintenance.
Chetan Jyoti Ann Shetra
The Ann Shetra (Community Kitchen) serves pure satvik meals to saints, devotees, pilgrims, and the needy.
This seva represents:
- The spirit of sharing and equality
- Nourishing both body and soul
- Hospitality rooted in dharma
- Service without expectation
Food is prepared with devotion and served as prasad, ensuring dignity and respect for all.
“अन्नदानं महादानम्” —
Donation of food is the greatest charity.
Devotees may sponsor Bhandaara or Ann Daan on special days such as birthdays, anniversaries, or religious occasions.
